How Does Reiki Work?
Animal Reiki is unique because we ask your pet's permission at the start of a session...and we wait for the animal to signal that he feels safe and is ready to receive Reiki.
Like the Chinese terms "Chi"and "Qi," the "Ki" in Reiki refers to the Universal Life Energy that connects everything in the Universe. During a Reiki session, your pet (and you) will feel a transmission of Universal Life Energy that will give you both a sense of comfort and well-being.
Because Reiki is energy, it is equally effective when sent from a distance or during a home visit. Since animals are empathic, they respond to Reiki even when it is sent from the other side of the globe. We now offer Reiki via Skype (drlaurie.nadel) sessions, distant Reiki, and home visit on Long Island.
